Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are stepping up and out of their comfort zone to promote for a social cause.

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will soon be seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

The pair was recently spotted in Gorakhpur,where they inaugurated the Indian Gramin Cricket League (IGCL) in the city amid a lot of enthusiasm and warm welcome from the locals, reports Pinkvilla.

Both the stars had taken to Instagram to post updates from the event.

Varun, dressed in a casual t-shirt and jeans, is seen addressing the crowd in a video he posted on social media.

“Got the opportunity to spend some time in Gorakhpur. We met a lot of talented kids. Had a lot of fun at the #igcl match. The league encourages kids to play sports rather than take up a life of crime,” he captioned.
