This picture of Amitabh Bachchan, wrapped up in yards of sheet with his face hardly visible, will crack you up. In what little is visible of his face, it is clear he is feeling grumpy.
For Amitabh Bachchan and family—including son Abhishek, daughter Shweta and her children Navya Naveli and Agastya, now that FIFA World Cup is done and dusted, it is time for some sight seeing and other tourist-y activities in Russia. On Monday, Amitabh shared a rather comical picture of himself on Instagram.
In it, he looks rather funny, wrapped up in yarns of fabric (possibly woollens) with just his face being visible. The expression on his face seems to say, ‘yes, I know, I look frumpy ’n grumpy but blame the chill’. He wears a stubble that is several days old. Clearly, Mr Bachchan is in a total unwind mode but is awfully cold.
Sharing the picture, Amitabh wrote: “ET .. !!! Beating the cold on the Volga ..” Perhaps, Mr Bachchan and company are on a river cruise.
The family have been stationed in St Petersburg for the last few days, to watch the final matches of the just-concluded FIFA world Cup. Abhishek has shared a picture of father and son from the France versus Belgium semi-final clash on July 12.
Some days back, Amitabh has shared pictures of his children and grandchildren, on their way to Russia. The pictures were from the airport lounge area as well from inside the aircraft. Amitabh has also written blog about their family’s stay in Russia. He also shared lots of pictures from St Petersburg, admiring the architecture and the overall beauty of the place. He wrote about the opulence of Russian architecture: “... the opulence and the reverence to the Almighty has ever been of keen interest to the human .. either in its making or its presence in nature .. the unknown, the divine has ever been given such position and pride and presence...”
Meanwhile, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya and Vrinda Rai are in Paris for Aishwarya’s commitment to an international watch brand she endorses. She too posted pictures from Paris as the French took to the streets to celebrate their team’s spectacular win on Sunday.
She has also been posting lovely pictures of her time with Aaradhya from the French capital.
