They were both seen in the film, Bhoothnath (2008), but Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were never in one frame, as they didn’t share screen space in the supernatural-comedy.
Before that, the two actors had worked together in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna in 2006, Mohabbatein (2000) and Kabhi Khushi Kahbie Gham (2001).
Now, we’ve been informed that, after eight years, SRK and Big B are finally confirmed to share screen space again, in the sequel to .
"Technically, they haven’t worked together since Karan’s film. Even though Shah Rukh is doing just a special appearance in this sequel, he will be seen alongside . The scenes will be shot either on March 6 or 7. SRK’s appearance connects the two movies," says an insider.

Despite repeated attempts, Bhushan Kumar, who has co-produced the film, remained unavailable for comment. But a source close to SRK confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, Shah Rukh has agreed to do a cameo in the , but the shoot date is yet to be finalised."
