Angad Bedi plans to make a documentary on dad Bishan Singh Bedi

Angad Bedi’s documentary will showcase his father Bishan Singh Bedi’s life before and after he started playing for the Indian cricket team.

Bollywood actor Angad Bedi, also a former Delhi Under 16 and Under 19 cricket player, now plans to make a documentary on his father and legendary cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi. The documentary will showcase Bishan’s life before and after he started playing for the Indian cricket team.

Angad wants people to relive both his father’s cricketing journey and his personal life.

When contacted, Angad says,“ I feel a documentary will do justice as there is a lot in his life, personally and professionally, which needs to be seen and told. His rapport with the players, his larger-than-life personality... He is brutally honest and calls a spade. His story will be an inspiration for generations: How he stood up for players even against the administration sometimes.. His fallouts... his relationships at home... His love for the game is greater than anything else,” he adds.

Angad is currently seen in Farhan AKhtar’s Amazon Prime special series, Inside Edge.
