Despite similarity to Guzaarish’s Ethan, choreographer turned director Ganesh Acharya says his film Angel has a positive ending. He says, “Hrithik is completely paralysed below his neck. None of his body parts are moving while Madalsa’s character can move and crawl. It’s a different disease.”

Upbeat about the fact that actors like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Bobby Deol and the Dutt family came to support his film, Acharya, who had earlier directed Manoj Bajpai-Juhi Chawla starrer Swami says, “I have worked with actors like Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. They all respect and love me.” Swami added, “I am really touched they took time out of their busy schedule to come for the music launch.”

Debutant actor Madalsa, who plays the film’s protagonist, is the daughter of renowned television actress Sheela Sharma (Rishton Se Badi Pratha on Colors).

About her character she says, “I am not playing Hrithik Roshan. I suffer from cerebral palsy in the film. In this ailment, the patient can’t move his/her hands and legs and is bound to a wheel chair.”
