Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabangg has been in news since its release. From being the highest grosser of the year to bagging six Screen awards, the film has been loved by one and all. What now? Chulbul Pandey, the fearless rustic cop played by Salman Khan, will now be a part of an animation series.



Dabangg producer Arbaaz Khan told Mumbai Mirror, "We're looking seriously into an animation version of the saga of Chulbul Pandey. I am meeting the officials from a company representing the animation project this week. We'll finalize the details then."



This animated series will feature on television, mobile phones and internet.

What about the sequel of the blockbuster? "It has been a hectic year. Salman has two other films to start and complete before we can start Dabangg 2. We're in no hurry. We can't just plunge into a sequel for the sake of it. I think a gap of a year-and-a-half between the first and second part of the franchise is fine," Arbaaz told the tabloid.



For the time being, animated Chulbul Pandey will keep us glued.
