In today’s era of smartphones, paparazzi and stars’ desire to stay connected with their fans has meant that nothing is private and personal any more. Bollywood shaadis keep getting bigger, their every little move in complete public scrutiny, sometimes knowingly so. However, in the good old days, this was hardly the norm. A pall of mystery surrounded our stars. Glimpses of them were to be seen on location shoots, a peek into their world of marriages and birthday parties was absolutely unknown.
Hence, when Anupam Kher shared a throwback picture from the wedding of actor Jackie Shroff to Ayesha, it sure seems special. A black-and-white photo, it has Anupam, Dimple Kapadia, Rajinikanth with the couple in question. Jackie and Ayesha are in bridal wear and going by today’s standards, they look so simple.

{{/usCountry}}On work front, Anupam is a busy bee, doing Hindi films and crossover ones with gay abandon. He just finished working in a BBC One TV series called Mrs Wilson and was last seen in the Bollywood hit Judwaa 2 in a character role.
Jackie meanwhile will be seen in Baahubali actor Prabhas’ next film, Saaho, though details about his role are not known. His son, Tiger Shroff, however, is among the most promising stars in Bollywood today. His last film, Baaghi 2 was a big hit and he is busy filming for Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2, which will see another star kid, Ananya Panday, daughter of Chunky Pandey, take the plunge in films.
