Anushka Sharma was a proud wife on seeing Virat Kohli receive the Polly Umrigar Trophy.

Virat Kohli was honoured with the prestigious Polly Umrigar Trophy at the BCCI Annual Awards function in Bengaluru on Tuesday. To make the night even more special, wife and actor Anushka Sharma was right by his side to cheer for him.

Anushka cracked a big smile as Virat took to the stage to receive his award. He even mentioned her in his speech, saying “My wife is here today so makes it more special. The awards didn’t happen last year but I am glad they didn’t because she is here now.”

Virat and Anushka looked stunning at the event in their matching outfits. He wore a dapper navy suit and she looked fabulous in a navy long dress with a ruffled collar and long sleeves. Check out more pictures from the event:

Virat received the award for his stupendous performance during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation for a neck injury sustained during the IPL, which ruled him out of his much debated County assignment for Surrey.
