Mahaakshay Chakraborty is a family man. The actor, who was last seen in Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted 3D, recently celebrated his birthday in the city. And instead of having a grand bash, he chose to spend it at home with his family. “It was a quiet family lunch. I prefer spending my birthdays with those I cherish. I am no party animal,” he says.

Mahaakshay’s next film Tukka Fit is a comedy film by debutant director Vinay. Talking about the project, he says, “I chose a comedy because it is diametrically different from Haunted. I owe my life to Vikram Bhatt, who believed in me. And now, I want to live up to the expectations of those who use their hard-earned money to buy a ticket to watch a film.”
