A local court has directed the police to lodge a case against the director and star cast of the film Goliyon ki Raasleela - Ram-leela, following a petition that the movie glorified violence and obscenity.

A local court has directed the police to lodge a case against the director and star cast of Bollywood film Goliyon ki Rasleela - Ram-leela, following a petition that the movie glorified violence and obscenity.Judicial Magistrate R P Gupta directed lodging of case against Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, among others.

Kailash Chandra had filed a petition contending that violence and obscenity has been glorified in the , and it has hurt the feelings and sentiments of Hindus.



The film has been surrounded by controversy even before its release and several organisations have demanded a ban on it.
