For all those who are missing Amitabh Bachchan in action, there is some good news! The 70's angry young man would be back in his Zanjeer avatar with a film that promises to have popular dialogues from his earlier hits, reports Mumbai Mirror.
If all goes well, Amitabh Bachchan will be re-launched as the angry 'old' man in Puri Jagannath's film Buddha. The film deals with the story of an old man who is an ex-gangster. After ruling the city of Mumbai for long, this gangster goes away, only to return 30 years later. When he finds a new set of gangsters ruling the city, he fights each of them, one by one.A source tells Mumbai Mirror, "This film will establish Amitabh as the angry old man. Buddha is a film, which he loved
the moment he heard the script. Initially, Ram Gopal Varma was to present it. However, Amitabh wanted to produce the film himself under AB Corp."
"The film will have lots of dialogues from movies like Deewar, Zanjeer etc. Amitabh's introductory scene is about his return to Mumbai after 30 years. This scene will have the famous dialogue from Kaalia, `Hum jahah par khade rehte hai, line wahi se shuru hoti hai'. There would also be dialogues from Zanjeer, such as the one in which he tells Pran `Jab tak baithne ko na kaha jaye, chup chap wahi khade raho'," continues the source.
