Film: Commando
Cast: Vidyut Jamwal (last seen in Force; 2011), Pooja Chopra (last seen in Heroine) and Jaideep Ahlawat (last seen in Aatma)
Storyline: Poker-faced Vidyut Jamwal jumps off a height of 20,500 feet and performs many death-defying stunts. He is the ‘dus hazaar mein ek commando’ who picks a fight with the very villainous looking bad guy’s evil gang to save the life of a talkative girl on the run. And yes, she eventually falls in love with the tough outside-soft inside commando and makes him sing songs and dance.

Director: Dilip Ghosh
Seriously, we have no idea who he is.

Music: Manan Shah
The soundtrack of the film brings Daler Mehndi back to the industry. It hasn’t created any chartbusters, but hasn’t received any scathing reviews either.

Controversies/stunts
Vidyut and the makers of the film decided to organise a few self-defence workshops for women to prepare them for the rather unsafe streets of this country. That was the last we heard.

Marketing/hype
The biggest USP of this movie has been the fact that all the stunts in it have been performed by the martial arts expert Vidyut Jamwal himself, without the use of any wires or harnesses. And just to make sure no one doubted his capabilities, the actor even showcased some of the stunts on stage, at a recently held press conference. Now, how about showcasing some acting?
