Can’t let go of a chance to work with Dibakar Banerjee: Nushrat

Bharucha is set to shoot for a television commercial with film-maker Dibakar Banerjee, who had directed her in Love, Sex Aur Dhokha.

Nushrat Bharucha, who was last seen in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (PKP 2; 2015) will soon shoot for a television commercial with film-maker Dibakar Banerjee, who had directed her in Love, Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD; 2010). In the film, Nushrat had played the role of a north Indian girl, who is killed by her family for getting married to someone from a different caste.

“Dibakar approached me for this ad, and told me that I was exactly what the character needed, and he would really like me to come on board. I agreed, and that was it,” says Nushrat Bharucha.

A source says, “Nushrat is ecstatic because she will soon work with Dibakar again. Her character in the ad is the opposite of what she played in her last film.”

The actor says, “LSD will always be special for me, and playing Shruti will always be my most satisfying work, creatively. Dibakar approached me for this ad, and told me that I was exactly what the character needed, and he would really like me to come on board. I agreed, and that was it. I can’t let go of an opportunity to work with Dibakar.”
