Caterina Lopez, Jennifer Lopez’s cousin, is entering Bollywood with an item number.

Caterina Lopez may have a famous lineage, but the 23-year-old starlet wants to be known for her talent. Lopez, whose cousin happens to be famous pop star Jennifer Lopez, is set to make her Bollywood debut with an item song in Bhindi Bazaar Inc, starring Kay Kay Menon and Shilpa Shukla.

About her relationship with Jennifer Lopez, she says, “Jennifer is a cousin from my mother’s side but I don’t want to speak anything about her. I want people to know me for who I am, not for whose cousin I am”. The actor says,“ Filmmakers here have been very sweet to me and also to actors from outside, like Katrina Kaif. I want to stay here permanently. I am trying to learn Hindi as well.”

The actor is pleased to start her Bollywood innings with an item song. “I have heard that item numbers can enhance your popularity. Also, it’s a unique way to express yourself,” beams the self confessed Shah Rukh Khan fan. “SRK is so good looking. I think he is the Brad Pitt of India.” Caterina also has eyes for Indian men. “I’m single and looking for a boyfriend here,” she says.
