Film: D-Day
Cast: Arjun Rampal (last seen in Inkaar), Rishi Kapoor (last seen in Aurangzeb), Irrfan (last seen in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns), Huma Qureshi (last seen in Ek Thi Daayan) and Shruti Haasan (last seen in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji; 2011).

Storyline: A group of R&AW agents are assigned to join an undercover agent in Pakistan on a covert
mission to help him capture a dangerous don, who bears uncanny resemblances to a certain real-life don. Then, of course, something goes horribly wrong.

Director
Nikhil Advani (Last directed Delhi Safari; 2012)
The movie received rave reviews and even won the National Award for the Best Animated Film in 2012. However, it did not do well at the box office.

Music
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
The soundtrack has received positive reviews. This is the composer trio's second album in quick succession, after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag that released last week. Mika's adaptation of 'Duma dum mast kalandar' has got special mention.

Controversies/stunts
Though Rishi Kapoor's character's resemblance to Dawood Ibrahim led to the expected speculation, director Nikhil Advani denied any connection. However, he was surprised and relieved to see that the Central Board of Film Certification did not object to any of the dialogue in the film.

Marketing/hype
The actors have been doing their bit to promote the film, even stepping out in the rain to spread the word. However, the film hasn't managed to create a lot of buzz. Filmmaker Karan Johar did his bit by tweeting about the movie recently.
