The theatrical trailer of the film, set in Lucknow of yore, took you back in time giving a glimpse to the elegant romance between Begum Para played by Madhuri Dixit and 'Khalujan' Naseeruddin Shah. But apparently, there is a new angle to the tale.

So, we know Naseer is possessive about his begum and even fights with Babban. Vijay Raaz too is seen fighting for his object of desire who happens to be Begum Para, the character essayed by Madhuri!

Naseer and Arshad reprise their role as Khalujan and Babban respectively, but unlike the first installment (where Vidya Balan was the solo heroine), this film has two female leads.

Directed by Abhishek Choubey, Dedh Ishqiya hits theatres on January 31, 2014.
