Deepika Padukone has had three back-to-back hits this year, but her lucky streak seems restricted to her films.
The actor has injured her back while shooting for a dance sequence in the past. Reportedly, she also suffered from severe swelling and scratches while dancing on a rough surface.
Her latest accident occurred on the sets of Ram Leela, where she apparently burnt her hand while shooting a scene in which she is holding a dhoop-dhan (metal bowl used to carry lit incense sticks).
For the shot, Deepika was required to hold it for quite some time, and ended up scalding her hands. However, she bravely continued shooting without any complaints.

Ranveer Singh might be playing Ram in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ramleela, but he played Krishna to the hilt as he shook a leg with the 'Gopis' in the introductory song from the film. The desi Romeo shows off his abs as he dances to the tunes of Raamji Ki Chal. At one point, he takes off his shirt to impress the mohalla girls who are besotted with him.
Ramleela music launch postponed for Ranveer Singh
The music of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ramleela, which was slated to be launched Sunday, has now been pushed to next week as the movie's lead actor Ranveer Singh is in hospital with dengue. A source close to the film's team said: "The music launch of the film was supposed to happen on Sunday. It will now most probably be on Thursday (Oct 26). Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known to have a grand event for all of his films, has decided to postpone the music launch of the film considering Ranveer's health."

Ranveer was admitted to a suburban hospital here in the wee hours of Friday morning following high fever. Doctors diagnosed a severe case of dengue.

Chopra who is currently working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the Mary Kom biopic, underwent a complete transition for her traditional avatar in Ramleela.
The actress is seen in a white choli and dhoti with thigh high slit, with heavy anklets being the only accessory. She flaunts a tattoo on her midriff.

The director's latest flick Ramleela looks like a pot pourri of all his previous films - we see a bit of Khamoshi The Musical, a lot of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and in the new song, Nagada Sang Dhol Baje, Devdas is re-visited.
The number also looks inspired by the Dholitaro Dhol Baje number from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
