Deepika Padukone is ‘Elegance ki moorat’ for Ranveer Singh after Cannes appearance, sis Anisha jokes she can’t even pronounce Cannes

As actor Deepika Padukone walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2019 in a cream and brown gown, husband Ranveer Singh and sister Anisha Padukone reacted to her look in style.

Actor Deepika Padukone never ceases to surprise her fans with her red carpet appearances and didn’t disappoint when she walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. The Padmaavat actor arrived in a puffed up cream gown by Peter Dundas with a thigh-high slit and a huge brown bow adding to the drama. Deepika completed her look with a high ponytail and thick kohl eyes as she walked around in the attire with a long train. But it was the reaction of her husband Ranveer Singh and her sister Anisha Padukone that left her fans in splits.

Ranveer couldn’t stop gushing over the actor and her costume. Deepika also made sure to give candid captions to her pictures which she shared on the internet. As Deepika shared her first pictures from the festival with the caption, “Taaaaddaaaaa!!!” Ranveer took no time in dropping his comments to the post. He responded with “BABY!!!!” and wrote in another comment, “More like Ta-Ta-Ta-Daaaaa-TA-DAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!” He also called her “Elegance ki Moorat!” in his response to another picture of hers.

Deepika also shared a picture with the caption, “close up to banta hai...!#Cannes2019” to which Ranveer responded “Aur paas....” Several other Bollywood actors also reacted to her look. Kriti Sanon called it ‘Stunningggg’ whereas Kajal Aggarwal said ’Everything about this is stunning!’

The actor also shared a video of her walk down the stairs of her hotel to the venue with the caption, “Before Mom yells at me for not getting enough rest...#Cannes2019.” TV actor Sanjeeda Shaikh called it “Mashaalllahhhh.”

Earlier during the day, Deepika had shared pictures of her preparation for her red carpet appearance. She wore a white button-down shirt, paired with a chambray shirt and loose denim pants. She accessorised her look with polarized black shades and red stiletto heel. Simple red lips and centre parted straight hair completed her look.
