Seems like no film’s shooting is complete without at least one memorable incident. And a considerable number of times, it’s an accident that makes it even more unforgettable. Perhaps that’s why Sonakshi Sinha will never forget filming a song sequence with Salman Khan on a dirt bike for her debut

.
According to a source, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, who were directing the song, wanted Sonakshi’s sari
pallu
to fly in the wind. They had gone some distance, when the
pallu
got stuck in the rear wheel and dragged Sinha down. “She tried calling out to Salman, but he couldn’t hear her due to the bike’s noise,” says our source.

Confirming the incident, Sinha says, “Radhika and Vinay felt that the
pallu
flying in the wind would lend to the song’s visual appeal. Suddenly, it got stuck in the wheel and jerked me off my seat, pulling me down. Due to the noise of the bike, Salman couldn’t hear my screams. Fortunately, he turned back just when I was about to fall and not only braked in time, but also retained control of the bike as we were riding at a considerably high speed.”

, which had got entangled in the wheel, had to be cut off so Sinha could breathe and attend to the bruises she had suffered. Predictably, Khan ticked the director duo off for suggesting that the
pallu
be flying in the air for any ‘visual appeal’.
“Salman told Radhika and Vinay that it was risky when we were riding at those speeds,” Sinha recalls, adding that she tucked it in for the next take.
When asked if she was involved in any action sequence in the film, Sinha denied, saying, “The action while filming the song was enough. It’s made the experience more memorable for me than any stunt in the film could.”
