Shah Rukh Khan in Ra.One
Shah Rukh is playing a superhero in his ambitious Rs 120-crore science fiction flick. The actor has roped in Hollywood visual effects experts to work on the film. SRK recently revealed that Hugh Jackman in the X-Men series inspired him to make Ra.One. “The role of Wolverine was the biggest inspiration for me to make Ra.One,” he said. The actor adds, “My team is all international and their knowledge will hopefully set a trend in action films,” he says.

Ranbir Kapoor in Rockstar
Ranbir Kapoor plays a rockstar in Imtiaz Ali’s film by the same name. Kapoor’s look and role in the film are heavily inspired by American grunge singer Kurt Cobain. Kapoor is, in fact reading Cobain’s biography to prepare well for the role. Kapoor’s look is also very grungy in the movie with long hair, chains and harem pants. He also learnt to play the guitar to play a perfect rockstar.

Shahid Kapoor in Mausam
Shahid Kapoor plays a fighter pilot in his actor-father Pankaj Kapur’s home production, Mausam. Shahid’s look has already been compared to Hollywood actor Tom Cruise’s look in Hollywood flick, Top Gun, in which Cruise played a naval aviator. Shahid’s hair, Ray Ban glasses and body language are very similar to that of Cruise in the movie. The actor has undergone special pilot training and has flown an F-16 in order to prepare well for the role.

Saif Ali Khan in Agent Vinod
Saif plays a spy in the thriller, starring girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. The actor has modelled his look on Hollywood actor Matt Damon in The Bourne series. Saif lost more than nine kilos for the film through strenuous sessions of kickboxing and gymming. He chopped off his hair to reveal a crop similar to Damon’s. Saif, who is performing numerous stunts in the movie, says, “Part of the movie is inspired by Hollywood spy thrillers.”
