Neil Nitin Mukesh, as we all know, is quite the dancer. For his upcoming release, Vishal Bhardawaj’s

Saat Khoon Maaf
, there was a song sequence where he and Priyanka Chopra were required to do the waltz.
Now, Neil enjoys dancing, but based on the character he is playing, the sequence had to look as easy and natural as possible since he plays the role of an army officer.
Being the commited craftsman that he is, Neil insisted on rehearsing the basics of the dance technique before learning the choreography. Since he was to lead Priyanka Chopra, he wanted to master the strong frame of the waltz to match her fiery personality in the movie.
In one shot, was required to spin six times and dive into the next step while carrying Priyanka. Each time he tried, he felt dizzy but wouldn’t stop until he mastered the art. It was most important to him to get the aura of a ballroom dancer. Neil also watched videos from the 1940s and 50s to get a sense of the charm and elegance of a male ballroom dancer.
