The Havells fans commercial from their campaign 'Fans are forever' features the 69-year-old actor going down the memory lane, remembering how his fans used to follow him everywhere when he was a superstar.

The ad features a young and handsome Rajesh Khanna being thronged by frantic female fans and becomes the stylish older version of himself surrounded by Havells fans.

Rajesh ends the ad with the dialougue "Babumoshai, mere fans mujhse koi nahi chheen sakta (nobody can take my fans away from me).

True to his word his, even after his death, fans will always fondly remember him as Bollywood's "first superstar".

The ad campaign was directed by filmmaker R Balki.

Balki, who has directed films like Paa and Cheeni Kum, said, "When the ad was being conceived, we could think of none other than Rajesh Khanna himself who still commands a great deal of respect and maximum fan following... It was a huge achievement to direct Mr Khanna in his first ever commercial."

Rajesh Khanna actor who became Bollywood's first superstar with a string of movie hits in the seventies, died in his Mumbai home on Wednesday. He was 69.
