Hrishita Bhatt’s film under attack from Pakistan

Ever since the Hrishita Bhatt-produced Shakal Pe Mat Ja hit the floors, the film has been in troubled waters. After reports that the Censor Board rejected five of its promos citing objectionable language as the reason, it’s learnt that director-actor Shubh Mukherjee is getting abusive calls from an unknown Pakistani number.

Ever since the Hrishita Bhatt-produced Shakal Pe Mat Ja hit the floors, the film has been in troubled waters. After reports that the Censor Board rejected five of its promos citing objectionable language as the reason, it’s learnt that director-actor Shubh Mukherjee is getting abusive calls from an unknown Pakistani number. He filed an FIR at Versova Police Station on Sunday.

“My manager and I have been getting calls. Initially, it was fine but suddenly this person started speaking in a completely different tone, which was abusive. He tried to scare us by saying things like, ‘I will see how you guys release the film’, ‘It has vulgar content’ and ‘How can we make fun of terrorism,’” says Shubh.
