Hrithik Roshan wanted a house like Katrina Kaif’s

Architect Ashiesh Shah, who has done the interiors for Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s homes, says Hrithik gave him the brief that he wanted the same vibe as Kat’s house.

Actor Hrithik Roshan got the interiors of his sea-facing Juhu apartment in Mumbai, redone by the same interior designer who designed his Bang Bang (2014) co-star, Katrina Kaif’s home in Bandra, Mumbai.

“Hrithik called me and said he’d seen Katrina Kaif’s new home in Bandra (which I’d done) and loved it. He said he wanted that vibe too. I got to work. We went about part by part, we did a few changes, we reoriented a few things and then we started working on the lifestyle aspect… How he would actually live in the space,” said Architect Ashiesh Shah, in an interview to an annual design and architecture magazine by Vouge, Casa Vouge.

In the same cover-story, Hrithik has stated: “Building this home was really about discovering myself. I wanted to explore what would manifest on the outside if I go purely by what I felt inside.”
