Huma, Gauahar team up

The duo recently shot for a for a short film produced by Habib Faisal

Huma Qureshi recently shot for a short film, which will also feature Gauahar Khan. Produced by film-maker Habib Faisal, the project has no male lead, and will ride solely on Huma and Gauahar’s shoulders.

“It was great fun shooting for this short film. Swati has written a very moving piece and with Habib sir backing it, I knew it would turn out great,” says Huma Qureshi. (Abhay Singh)

A source close to Huma says, “It has been directed by debutante Swati Srivastav, who has previously worked with Habib on Ishaqzaade (2012). They shot for the film for four days last week.”

Talking about the experience of working on the project, Huma says, “It was great fun shooting for the short film. Swati has written a moving piece, and with Habib sir backing it, I knew it would turn out great.”
