After gaining popularity down South, item girl Sonia Arora wants to make it big in Bollywood. With as many as 400 live stage shows with big Bollywood stars in India and abroad, Sonia can't thank her destiny enough.

Talking about her next show, she says, “I’m going to USA in November for my upcoming shows with Hrithik Roshan in Florida, California, New Jersey, New York and Washington.”

Though she is a big admirer of Hrithik, but her personal favourite when it comes to dancing, is Govida. “I adore Govinda a lot. He’s the best because his expressions match his moves. He is very energetic and the way he expresses and presents himself makes him stand apart from others. He is someone from whom a lot can be learnt,” she adds.

Unlike other item girls, Sonia is not at all threatened with A league actors doing item numbers. “I think it depends on what audiences want to see,” she says. Ask Sonia will she ever pick acting over dancing, if given an opportunity, and pat comes the reply: “Never, dancing will always be my first priority. It’s as important to me as breathing, but since I love trying new things, if given a chance, I’d love to act.”
