I had fun working with Rishi Kapoor: Subhash Ghai

Actor Rishi Kapoor and filmmaker Subhash Ghai have reunited 33 years after producing Karz (1980) for Kaanchi. “It was a crazy experience for me to work with Rishi Kapoor again after so many years. It was a challenge to present him as a powerful and interesting villain after I presented him as a pop star in Karz. We had so much fun.”

“It was a crazy experience for me to work with Rishi Kapoor again after so many years. It was a challenge to present him as a powerful and interesting villain after I presented him as a pop star in Karz. We had so much fun,” says Ghai, adding, “He will be seen as a business tycoon with guns, girls and guitar in Kaanchi. It was overwhelming when he played the Karz tune on a guitar. We shot for seven days and now we are headed for a three-week outdoor shoot.”
