It has been two years since Anil Kapoor’s autobiography was announced. The actor-film-maker was going to pen down his journey from Bollywood to Hollywood.
When we ask him about the status of the memoir, he says, "Yes, I am writing, but I haven’t been able to give enough time to it. After I started working on the book, I got busy with TV shows here and abroad. Moreover, films have taken up much of my time."
When asked if he has a release date in mind for the book, he explains, "You know, I’m famous for postponing things, so I am also known as 'Postponement Kapoor'. Whenever I need to finalise or decide something, I take my own sweet time to do it. But jokes apart, there’s no specific time that I have decided on for releasing the book."
Spilling the beans on how far he has reached in documenting his life, Anil says, "In the book, till now, I have graduated, and am preparing for my entry to the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, where I was rejected post the written examination. Once I complete my film with John Abraham and Nana Patekar, I hope to find time to write more chapters."
