‘I will not undergo anti aging treatments’

Seema Rahmani makes a comeback in an anti aging comedy, Love Wrinkle Free, as a photographer.

Seema Rahmani wooed the audience in Loins of Punjab (2007) as an effortless singer. The actor, who was also seen in Sins (2005), Shakalaka Boom Boom (2007), and Good Morning, Good Night (2012), will be playing a tourist photographer in debutant director Sandeep Mohan’s Love Wrinkle Free, a light-hearted story about love going beyond cosmetic barriers.

She says, “I play Natalie who is a free-spirited, yet grounded photographer looking to spark her creativity while also living with openness to a simple fun-filled life.”

Because the film is an anti-aging comedy, we ask Rahmani to what length she would go to defy age. “I think a majority of the human race is being conditioned to worry about aging, because everyone is focusing on physical appearances. I don’t see myself going through treatments that defy aging, but in my field if a certain role that I passionately want to do requires some minor changes, then I guess I could,” she says.

The film, Seema says, will make you laugh as it takes you through real life situations of very down-to-earth people either based in Goa or traveling through it. She says, “What makes this movie fun is the quirkiness and idiosyncrasies of the characters and the situations they are in.” Director Sandeep adds, “Being a sensual traveling photographer in the film, Seema took to the camera seriously and went around taking pictures of Goa. She even shot some of our production stills.”
