Imran-Kareena film's trailer to release during Dirty Picture

Fans of Vidya Balan and The Dirty Picture (TDP) have a surprise in store. Along with the actor’s sultry moves in Milan Luthria’s film, fans will also spot the first-ever trailer of Karan Johar’s upcoming biggie, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (EMAET), starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Industry insiders inform that to release the first trailer of his film, Karan was looking for a film that is likely to garner a lot of eyeballs. “This season, TDP has created a lot of buzz, he was very keen that the trailer goes with this film. And when he spoke to producer Ekta Kapoor, she readily agreed,” says the insider.

Confirms Tanuj Garg, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures: “Yes, Dharma and Balaji are very close. Karan’s a great friend and at his request, we immediately agreed to attach the trailer of EMAET with TDP. It is being done as we talk. So, audiences will see the promo of Karan’s film with our movie.”

For the uninitiated, the Karan Johar-produced film has been directed by newbie, Shakun Batra. The film brings together Imran and Kareena for the first time in a film. It is slated to release around Valentine’s Day.
