Imran Khan borrowed jacket for Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara

Imran Khan borrows ’80s jackets from his friend to get the look right for his upcoming gangster film. “In the movie, he will be seen wearing old school, rough and macho jackets that he has borrowed from his friend Wasim’s collection. Some of those jackets, in fact, belong to Wasim’s father, which he wore back in the ’80s."

Imran Khan, who used his own Pathani suit and then had a feroza ring made to look authentic in his next film, is adding another personal touch to the character. In Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara, he will be seen in jackets that are borrowed from one of his friends.

“Imran plays the role of a don in the film and he has worked a lot towards getting his look right. From his body and the stubble he sports to the complete styling of the character, he has done a lot. He has been styled by Kunal Rawal, and Imran himself has left no stone unturned to make himself look close to the character,” says a source, adding, “In the movie, he will be seen wearing old school, rough and macho jackets that he has borrowed from his friend Wasim’s collection. Some of those jackets, in fact, belong to Wasim’s father, which he wore back in the ’80s. Thus, they added value to his character.”

In the film, Imran will also be seen wearing high-ankle zipped boots with pointed toes, which were in fashion during the period in which the film is set.

“A sufi song can give a lot of depth and romance to the film. It’s not only about gangsters, it’s about their love lives too, says Luthria, adding, “It’s also Pritam’s 100th film as a composer. I am happy that we have come up with such a soulful number.”
