Khan was invited to attend a congregation of one-night marriages in Las Vegas, United States, but he says there’s no way he would attend.

“Going for this convention is out of the question because I haven’t had a one-night marriage in real life,” says Imran, who dated his wife Avantika for eight years before he tied the knot in January.

Interestingly, the event is an echo of the plot of his next film, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, which co-stars Kareena Kapoor.

The actor has, in fact, been meeting with those who have opted for a one-night marriage. The concept refers to those who meet a stranger one evening and get marrried to him/her the following day.

“Some of them feel if they have got the right partner, why should they wait?” he says and adds that he enjoyed meeting such couples.

How does his wife feel about his Research.

“These things have no bearing in real life. And seriously, Avantika wouldn’t care if I go or not. It’s all related to the film and she knows that.”
