In pics: Shah Rukh Khan gets a royal treatment, eats daal-baati for the first time

Shah Rukh Khan is currently promoting his upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film will feature Anushka Sharma opposite him.

Getting royal treatment during his tours is not new for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, but even he was surprised with the grand welcome he received in Jaipur on Saturday.

We have got our hands on some pictures from his recent visit to the pink city and they are colourful to say the least.

King Khan was hosted by a restaurant and treated with a special Rajasthani Thali. Later, he was seen gorging on daal-baati-churma in a gold thali.Rajasthani singers also recreated some of Shah Rukh Khan’s most iconic songs with a Rajasthani twist.

An overwhelmed Shah Rukh Khan said, “I had just heard of dal baati. It’s fantastic and really nice. I wonder how people finish this food it’s really filling and very tasty. For me it’s a first-time experience, now I will come here once in three months at least”.

Khan is on a promotional tour to promote his upcoming film with Anushka Sharma, Jab Harry Met Sejal.
