The day did not end well for the Indians as West Indies remained on course to win their second World Twenty20 title after thumping hosts India by seven wickets in a pulsating semi final contest at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday.
Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to post his feelings on this defeat, but with some positivity to it. “A loss .. and the heart and mind sinks .. we are defeated by the Windies in the semi final of the WC T20I and suddenly the energy drops several levels ..,” he wrote.
“But soon after, there is a rush of understanding, an appreciation of the efforts of the team, praise for the star players, and a ‘bad day’ at the pitch when 3 catches turn out to be ruled ‘no balls’,” Big B added.
