Call it a coincidence, or an unapologetic lift-off, but a host of Bollywood actors are donning looks in their upcoming flicks that are strikingly similar to ones that veteran Hollywood and Bollywood actors have already tried in the past.

For his look in the upcoming flick, Action Replayy, Akshay Kumar has drawn inspiration from veteran actor Sunil Dutt. The film rewinds to the 1970s era, and Kumar admits that the locks and clothes he flaunts are inspired from Sunil Dutt’s look in Zakhmee. “I modeled my look in the film on Duttsaab. I was comfortable sporting the long hair, but the big wig was a pain because it would take one-and-half hours to wear it,” said Akshay.

Rumour has it that actor Saif Ali Khan’s new crew cut, clean–shaven look for his second home production, Agent Vinod, is inspired by Matt Damon’s look in Bourne Identity. Though Saif has kept mum about the look, the actor’s girlfriend Kareena said, “Saif has never looked as cooler as he is looking in Agent Vinod. His cropped hairdo and chiseled body suits him really well.”

In the film, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Ajay Devgn’s look was based on Amitabh Bachchan’s look in Deewaar, while Emraan Hashmi’s was reportedly inspired by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. "I loved Amitji’s all-white look in Deewaar and decided that Ajay should wear white throughout the film," said filmmaker Milan Luthria.

Akshay Kumar’s look in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer, Action Replayy, is inspired from Sunil Dutt’s look in the 1975 film, Zakhmee. Akki admitted that he modeled his look on the veteran actor and also said that sporting the wig was a pain.
