Actor Jackie Shroff said that though his foray into the South Indian film industry was an impromptu one, he was thrilled by love of the fans who treat actors like gods.

Actor Jackie Shroff said that though his foray into the South Indian film industry was an impromptu one, he was thrilled by love of the fans who treat actors like gods.

“I am doing south films as people from south are approaching me. The filmmakers want me to be part of their films. It is not something I had planned. I had not thought of doing it,” Shroff said, adding, “They respect their actors a lot. There is a lot of talent in the south industry.”
