John Abraham is riding high these days with his gangster movie Shootout At Wadala slated for release in a few days. Reports now suggest that the actor has secured Rs 15 crore payment for his role in the sequel to Welcome.

Mid Day reported on Monday that producer Anees Bazmi and Firoz Nadiadwala have paid Rs 15 crore to John Abraham. The tabloid quoted sources as saying, " Anees and Firoz decided to cast John and they have apparently paid him Rs 15 crore for the film. Given that John’s upcoming film with Sanjay Gupta is being much talked about, it was but obvious that the actor would be commanding a price like this."

Apparently, Welcome is set to be on the floors by the end of this year.
