When Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan said that the first birthday celebration of son Taimur will not be a Bollywood party, they had a different plan up their sleeve. Instead of a Bollywood-style party, the celeb parents whisked off the tiny tot, who turns one on Wednesday, to the family estate in Pataudi and arranged a tractor for a fun ride.

Yes, really. The Chote Nawab (Saif’s former title has a new claimant) got a taste of village life, met the tiger of Pataudi and celebrated Christmas days in advance. It was up to the Instagram star of the family, Karisma Kapoor, to share photos of the birthday celebrations as both Saif and Kareena don’t have a presence on social media.

On Karisma’s account, we found the perfect pics of Taimur’s special day. The most important, of course, is this one fit for family album with Kareena, Saif and the birthday boy...

In another photo, the tiger of Pataudi can be seen sharing space with Saif and Kareena’s uncle Karan Kapoor and cousin Zahaan. She also shared a photo with Kareena where both posed with a Christmas tree and a huge star in background.

Kareena and Saif left for Pataudi a few days ago and Karisma joined them with her children and mother Babita. The rest of the family is also expected to join them on December 20.

The party will be at the Pataudi Palace, which is the heritage home of the nawabs of Pataudi. Also called Ibrahim Kothi, it has 150 rooms, including seven dressing rooms, seven bedrooms, seven billiard rooms, as well as palatial drawing rooms, and dining rooms.

Sprawling over 10 acres, it was constructed on the orders of Saif’s paternal grandfather and designed by Robert Tor Russell and is reported to be valued at Rs 800 crore.
