Katrina goes for Hrithik

Now we have been informed that it was Katrina who opted out of the film due to date issues. Apparently, the actor was offered Gunday and the Hindi remake of the Tom Cruise’s hit Knight And Day (starring Hrithik Roshan). However, both are starting around the same time — February-March 2013. So, she had no option but to opt out of one film.

“It’s not like she chose Hrithik over Arjun and Ranveer. Since people loved her with Hrithik in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), she thought it’s time to rekindle their on-screen chemistry again,” says an insider.

Not many know that Katrina is also close to Arjun (she considers him her brother). “But Hrithik does fewer films. So, if she misses out on the Knight And Day remake, no one knows when she will get an opportunity to work with him again. But Katrina wants to work with Arjun or Ranveer whenever she gets an opportunity,” adds the insider.
