This is what sisters are all about -- bonhomie, fun and laughter. A picture of late Sridevi’s daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor goofing around, was shared by step-sister Anshula Kapoor. Looking at the picture, it is not hard to see what a close bond the two girls share and how Anshul, Arjun Kapoor’s sister, has become an important part of Janhvi and Khushi’s life.

We see Khushi riding piggyback on elder sister Janhvi. Both of them can’t help but smile. The girls can be seen wearing black leggings; while Khushi has a matching black top, Janhvi wears a cream-coloured one. The picture seems has been taken inside a home. We see a dinner table with cutlery and food in the background.

In February 25 this year, much of India woke up the rude shock that Bollywood diva Sridevi had died the previous evening under mysterious circumstances in a Dubai hotel. It was later confirmed that it was a case of drowning in the bath tub. The two girls and their father producer Boney Kapoor, despite being distraught at their loss, put a brave face through the crisis. From the photographs that have been appearing since then, the four children of Boney Kapoor (Arjun and Anshula from his first marriage) have been bonding very well. Pictures of Sridevi’s two daughters attending dinner and birthday parties with Arjun and his sister have become routine. It may be recalled that while Sridevi was alive, relationship between the late actor’s family and Arjun were, at best, cordial.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Karan Johar’s production, Dhadak. A Hindi remake of Marathi sleeper hit, Sairat, the film also marks the Bollywood debut of actor Shahid Kapoor’s kid brother, Ishaan Khatter. The latter made his film debut in well known Iranian auteur Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, which released recently. Dhadak is being directed by Shashank Khaitan, known for hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

Khushi too looks to be going the glamour way. Her pictures on Instagram find huge fan followings and often go viral. It is not known if she too will follow her mother and sister into acting.
