Acharya, who has earlier directed Swami, says the comparison is a little unfair for the young actor. “Dutt is a big star and Nilesh has just begun his career. Yes, he has this legacy behind him. Just like Dutt, Nilesh has a macho body and is soft-spoken,” says Acharya. “I was looking for someone who would look convincing fighting 10 men, and perfect while romancing a girl,” he continues, laughing. “All the girls on the set used to be fond of him because of his caring nature and good looks,” informs Acharya.

“On a serious note, I would request cine-goers to watch the film without thinking much about his legacy. Though both my lead actors come from a filmi background, that was not the reason why I signed them. I auditioned Maddalsa and was convinced that she would suit the character best,” he adds.
