“I make my films for my audience. I’ve always maintained this through all my films. I want them to feel involved in the film right from the first shot,” Khan said about the film that will release next year. “I don’t need to promote the film from now on. But yes, I will be interacting with my audience throughout the making of the film,” said the director.
The mahurat was held on Wednesday at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. When asked whether stars were invited, Khan said: “It wasn’t a party. So no guests or anything.” An official remake of Jeetendra-Sridevi starrer 1980 hit film of the same name, Khan’s version stars actors Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah in the lead roles.

Actors Paresh Rawal, Prakash Raj and Adhyayan Suman will also feature in the film.
