The newest entrant in Bollywood this season is 23-year-old British model Wardah Khan. A model for the past two years in London, and an ardent fan of actor Shah Rukh Khan, she’ll be seen playing actor Imran Zahid’s second love-interest in Rakesh Ranjan Kumar’s upcoming film, Marksheet.

A model for the past two years in London, and an ardent fan of actor Shah Rukh Khan, she’ll be seen playing actor Imran Zahid’s second love-interest in Rakesh Ranjan Kumar’s upcoming film, Marksheet.

Daughter of a designer and a London-based businessman, Wardah featured in the FHM magazine’s April 2012 edition as ‘girl next door’, and has also appeared in a Rahat Fateh Ali Khan music video.

“I had never planned on acting but my father’s interest in Bollywood encouraged me to think seriously. I came to India a month ago and met with people in the industry,” says Wardah. Excited about her role, she adds: “I play the role of a very sensual woman, and so I am working on the desired diction.”
