Making a film is anything but a hassle-free task. While most movie crews will vouch for that fact, the team that worked on Lootera might go the extra mile to do so. Vikramaditya Motwane, who has been working on this film for over a year and a half, has decided to make a five-minute documentary, capturing the toughest moments his crew faced during the making of the movie.

One of the first mishaps was lead actor Ranveer Singh’s back injury, which gave the crew a major fright. The shooting schedule was disrupted as the actor had to be rushed back to the city on a stretcher. Then, while filming in Dalhousie, the team faced extreme weather conditions. Some days, they even had to trek through knee-high snow. To maintain continuity, the crew also had to recreate winter in the summer later in the schedule.

“Lootera has been an emotional journey for all those involved with it. It is the perseverance and determination of the crew that made sure this movie got made,” says Vikramaditya, adding, “After watching this five-minute video, a lot of people want us to make a full-fledged documentary. We will be releasing some more footage of our journey soon.” As of now, the makers are in the process of deciding how they should release the documentary titled Labour Of Love, whether it should be made available independently during the promotions or whether it should be screened with the film’s end credits.
