Actors Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain were challaned for riding a scooter without helmets in Vadodara. The two were promoting their upcoming film—a Salman Khan production—Loveratri in the city.

The two were photographed on the streets, and even interacted with fans. The police arrived at their hotel in the evening and penalised them. Each was handed a fine of Rs 100.
According to a Times of India report, the actors drove from Harni airport to Sursagar lake at around 5 pm, which was when first images were shared online. “We sent cops to issue memo to both the actors at their hotel. They are celebrities and hence they should understand their responsibility and follow traffic laws,” said Amita Vanani, assistant commissioner of police (traffic).
A similar incident occurred in Mumbai recently, when actor Varun Dhawan was fined for disobeying traffic rules while promoting a movie.
Loveratri is a romantic drama directed by Abhiraj Minawala, and is scheduled to open in theatres in October. The film is the launchpad for Salman’s brother-in-law, Aayush.
