Mira, Shahid Kapoor take off for honeymoon, share selfie

Newly married Shahid and Mira Kapoor are finally off to their much-discussed honeymoon. Shahid is finally free from his work commitments, read Shandaar and Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, and has whisked his wife off to London for a much deserved break. They posted a selfie on the way.

Newly married Shahid and Mira Kapoor are finally off to their much-discussed (in media that is) honeymoon. Shahid is finally free from his work commitments, read Shandaar and Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, and has whisked his wife off to London for a much deserved break.

Always alive to the fact that his fans like to stay updated on his life, the actor also posted a lovey-dovey selfie with Mira on Instagram and Facebook. Shahid reposted the pic from Mira's Instagram account, which shows the new couple dressed in white grinning from ear-to-ear.

You can also see two people photobombing the couple. Shahid reposted the picture on his FB profile and captioned it as “Dishoom ... photobombalert”. The couple also attended a satsang of Guru Radha Swami there, where Shahid reportedly sang, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai, a song from one of his films.

The couple got married in a private ceremony in Delhi which was attended by close family and friends. The July wedding was followed by two receptions, one in Delhi and another in Mumbai.

On the work front, Shahid judges the dance reality show with Karan Johar, Ganesh Hedge and Lauren Gottlieb. His Shandaar is ready for release and he is also playing the lead in Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab.
