Mom: Here’s why Sridevi is much ahead of husband Boney Kapoor

Mom, directed by Ravi Udyawar, is set to release on July 7. A.R Rahman has composed the music for the movie.

He is a famous producer and she is the ‘Chandni’ of Bollywood; together, they make a power-couple. They are Boney Kapoor and Sridevi. But still, she is much ahead of her husband; rather Kapoor is 10 percent of the English Vinglish actor.

Explaining the same at the trailer launch of their upcoming movie Mom, he said, “Madam has completed 50 years, but I am his junior. I am 40-years-old in the industry. It’s her 300th film and mine is 30, 10 percent of hers. Imagine, my wife is so ahead of me.”

MOM is a gift for the 53-year-old actor from Boney Kapoor for completing half a century in the film industry.

The intriguing trailer of the upcoming movie follows the story of a mother, Devki (played by Sridevi) and her teenage daughter Arya, where the former is seen struggling to save the latter in some way. However, the reason for the same remains mystery.
