Nargis Fakhri, who is playing a New York-based DJ in her upcoming film Banjo, will be seen in a traditional avatar in one of its songs.

The actor will sport a nauvari (a style of sari draping intrinsic to Maharashtrian women), and will be seen performing lavani (Maharashtrian folk dance) in the song. Since this is Nargis’ maiden attempt at a traditional dance performance, she had to prepare a lot for it.
