Neil to star in Shortcut Romeo

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who will be seen in Players and Pocketmaar, has bagged another film, Shortcut Romeo. The film is the remake of Tamil film, Thiruttu Payale, and stars Ameesha Patel as the leading lady.

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who will be seen in Players and Pocketmaar, has bagged another film, Shortcut Romeo. “Took test early morning for the next film! Shortcut Romeo. The homework we got to do, reminds me of school! But then school wasn’t fun,” the 29-year-old tweeted. The film is the remake of Tamil film, Thiruttu Payale, and stars Ameesha Patel as the leading lady.

The grandson of the legendary singer Mukesh, Neil shot to fame with his 2007 film Johnny Gaddaar and since has done movies like New York (2009), Lafangey Parindey (2010), Tera Kya Hoga Johnny (2010), and 7 Khoon Maaf (2011).

The actor will next be seen in action thriller, Players, which is the official remake of Hollywood movie Italian Job, with Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Sonam Kapoor. It is set to hit the theatres on December 23.
