The 45-year-old established himself as an action hero with movies like Mr. And Mrs. Khiladi, Mohra, Main Khiladi Tu Anari. However, he later diverted himself towards light movies like Dil To Pagal Hai, Hera Pheri, Awara Paagal Deewana and Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.

It was his 2012 movie Rowdy Rathore, which was said to be his return to the action genre. However, if one goes by Akshay's tweet, Boss promises far tougher action.
